About the Artist:
Kelly Kellz (Kelly Davis) is a dynamic comedian and actress whose infectious humor and grounded storytelling have made her a standout voice in modern stand-up. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Kelly started her professional journey far from the comedy club — she was a certified K–12 teacher, shaping young minds before she ever picked up a mic. Her comedy career officially launched in 2009, and she quickly built a following with her relatable material, drawing on her real-life experiences juggling motherhood, marriage, and the everyday trials of Black womanhood. In 2017, Kelly made her television debut on HBO’s All Def Comedy, a major milestone that marked her rise beyond the local circuit. Since then, she’s shared the stage with comedy legends like Dick Gregory, Mike Epps, Rickey Smiley, and Katt Williams. Kelly’s talent isn’t confined to stand-up. She’s appeared in film too — with credits like Disconnection and Role Play. Meanwhile, her “Funny By Nature” tour (executive produced by Vivica A. Fox) has taken her across the country, delighting audiences from coast to coast. Off-stage, Kelly is a powerhouse on social media, with millions of followers across platforms. She also co-hosts the Through Thick & Thin podcast, where she tackles life, family, and the funny chaos in between. In 2024, she was honored as Comedian of the Year by the Association of the Promotion of Campus Activities (APAC), a testament to both her talent and wide-reaching appeal. Kelly Kellz is more than a comedian — she’s a storyteller, a mother, a former teacher, and an inspiration. Her journey from Milwaukee classrooms to national stages underscores her commitment to making people laugh while staying true to her roots
